Alex Selkowitz is an LA-based fine artist who specializes in oil paintings.
As a life-long Californian, Alex developed an early passion for drawing and the arts, which eventually led to a career in the film industry.
Today, Alex brings that technical foundation in light, composition, and atmosphere into his artwork, drawing inspiration from the golden LA sunlight, smog-tinted sunsets, mid-century modern design, cityscapes and quiet nocturnal scenes.
Alex is drawn to the beauty in ordinary moments and loves giving them a sense of permanence through paint.
